Curtains are more casual and homey, and are often made of washable fabrics. This makes many types of curtains family‐friendly and perfect for households with less formality and tighter budgets. One consideration to keep in mind is that unlined curtains will not block much light and are often used in conjunction with blinds if controlling light is a concern or if total privacy is necessary.
