Ever since colour aficionados Pantone announced that greenery was going to be the colour of the year for 2017, green bathrooms have been enjoying a much welcomed renaissance. Green bathrooms got a bad reputation because back in the 1970s and 1980s it was all the rage to install a avocado colour bathroom suite and let's just say these bathroom colours didn't age well. The Winchester traditional bathroom features green wall paneling, wood effect bathroom floor tiles and a stunning traditional bathroom suite with freestanding bath. Timber, good quality wooden frames look good in traditional homes. Hard woods, such as teak and oak are more expensive than soft woods but are also more resiliant. Timber frames are more prone to weather conditions sun and rain can take their toll swelling, shrinking or warping the frames, making the doors difficult to open or close and facilitating draughts. Stained or painted, wooden frames are high maintenance compared with aluminium or pvc.
